What exactly is Clear Correct?
Clear Correct uses a system of clear aligner trays that work by applying gentle, effective pressure to the teeth. The trays are comfortable to wear and virtually invisible to the naked eye. This option is a viable alternative to traditional metal braces that require brackets and wiring. Adults and older teens benefit the most from Clear Correct because no one will know you’re straightening your teeth but you and our dental team.
Why would you want or need Clear Correct?
Clear Correct is an inconspicuous way to straighten your teeth. The trays are comfortable and provide adequate correction of issues like crowding, crookedness and malocclusion. Each patient is different in the type of treatment that they need, so a consultation and exam is required prior to the Clear Correct being made for you. It’s not uncommon for many of our patients to be adults who have already gone through orthodontic treatment and never maintained their results with a retainer.
What makes you a good candidate for Clear Correct?
Most patients who need orthodontic treatment are good candidates for Clear Correct because of how well the system works. You can benefit from wearing Clear Correct because it allows you to fully remove the trays in order to properly clean your teeth. The system is ideal for most patients, but it is especially suitable for teens and adults who will be able to keep the trays in place throughout the day and night. We will determine if you will benefit from Clear Correct by coming in for a consultation.
What can you expect with Clear Correct treatment?
You’ll first come in for a consultation and exam with our doctor. Impressions are taken by our staff and used to create your new Clear Correct trays. The trays are put into place and you’ll be instructed on how to wear them as well as remove them. You will need to come back in to have more impressions taken and new trays made every few weeks. The Clear Correct system can straighten teeth in as little as six months, but it’s typical to wear these braces for one to two years for optimal results.
